What is Great Digger?
Great Digger is a record discovery app that helps music collectors find new releases and hidden gems through an innovative swipe-based interface – swipe right to save records you like to your Picks, swipe left to dismiss them to your Returns.
How does the swipe interface work?
Browse through records one at a time with audio previews. Swipe right (or tap the heart) to add records to your Picks crate. Swipe left (or tap the X) to dismiss records to your Returns box. Each swipe helps us learn your taste and recommend better records!
What platforms is Great Digger available on?
Great Digger will be available on:
- iOS App Store (iPhone and iPad)
- Google Play Store (Android)
- Web browser at app.greatdigger.com
Waitlist & Beta
What is the waitlist for?
Great Digger is currently in private beta. Join our waitlist to be notified when we’re ready for more users. Waitlist members will get early access and special perks when we launch publicly.
When will I get access?
We’re gradually inviting waitlist members during our beta phase. The sooner you join, the sooner you’ll get access! We’ll email you when your invite is ready - check our roadmap for current progress updates.
I signed up but haven’t received anything. What should I do?

Features & Functionality
Can I listen to full tracks?
Nope. Currently, we provide audio previews (usually 30-90 seconds) for each record. Full track streaming may be added in future updates depending on upcoming partnerships. The app focuses on discovery – helping you find records to buy from stores and distributors.
Where do the records come from?
We source records from multiple places:
- New releases from labels and distributors
- Local record stores inventory
- Online sellers inventory
- Online partners APIs
- Open feeds of music blogs and websites
Can I buy records through the app?
Great Digger helps you discover records, then directs you to stores where you can purchase them. We partner with record stores and distributors to make buying as seamless as possible, but the actual purchase happens through their platforms.
Pricing & Subscription
Is Great Digger free?
Great Digger is completely free while in Private or Public Beta. Before launch, new subscription plans will be announced, including a free tier with limited usage and a premium tier with full access to advanced features.
How much does the premium subscription cost?
Pricing details will be announced closer to our public launch. Waitlist members and beta testers will receive special pricing offers once we announce the new plans.
Technical Support
The app isn’t working properly. What should I do?
Try these troubleshooting steps:
- Close and reopen the app
- Check your internet connection
- Update to the latest app version
- Restart your device
- Clear the app cache (Android) or offload and reinstall (iOS)

What devices are supported?
iOS: iPhone and iPad running iOS 13.0 or later
Android: Devices running Android 8.0 (API level 26) or later

How do I report a bug?
Help us improve! Report bugs by emailing inbox@greatdigger.com with:
- Device type and operating system version
- App version number
- Description of what happened
- Steps to reproduce the issue
- Screenshots or screen recordings (if helpful)
Account & Data
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account through the app settings, or email us atinbox@greatdigger.com. Account deletion will remove all your data, including swipe history and preferences. This action cannot be undone.
Can I export my data?
Yes! You can request an export of your data including your swipe history, saved records, and account information. Email us at inbox@greatdigger.comwith “Data Export Request” in the subject line.
How is my privacy protected?
