Your Rights Under GDPR

Right to Information

  • Usage data and app interactions
  • Device information and technical data

Right of Access

You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. This includes your account information, preferences, and usage history.

How to Request Access:

Send an email to inbox@greatdigger.com with:

  • Subject: “GDPR Access Request”
  • Your registered email address
  • Proof of identity (if requested)

We will respond within 30 days with your data export.

Right to Rectification

You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data. This includes updating your profile information, preferences, or any other data we hold about you.

How to Update Your Data:

  • Update your profile directly in the app (when available)
  • Email us at inbox@greatdigger.com with specific changes needed

Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”)

You can request deletion of your personal data when it’s no longer necessary for the purposes it was collected, or if you withdraw consent for processing.

How to Delete Your Data:

  • Delete your account through the app settings (when available)
  • Email us at inbox@greatdigger.com with “Account Deletion Request”

Note: We may retain some data for legal compliance or legitimate business interests.

Right to Restrict Processing

You can request that we limit how we process your data while we investigate a complaint or update incorrect information.

Contact us at inbox@greatdigger.com with “Restrict Processing Request” to temporarily limit data processing.

Right to Data Portability

You can request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format that can be transferred to another service provider.

Portable Data Includes:

  • Your music preferences and swipe history
  • Account information and settings
  • Saved records and collections

Right to Object

You can object to processing of your personal data for direct marketing, profiling, or when processing is based on legitimate interests.

  • Marketing emails and promotional communications
  • Algorithmic music recommendations

Consent Management

Where we process your data based on consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
